Sunset Interiors & Design Studio is an interior decorating business started by owner & Crystal Beach resident Jerri Valentine.  Jerri is the principal designer for Sunset Interiors & is a graduate of the Art Institute of Houston where she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design in 2006.  Since then, she has spent time working for one of the largest Real Estate development companies on the Bolivar Peninsula designing houses, as well as working for a Windstorm Engineer in Galveston, specializing in windstorm design for coastal homes. 

In 2008, Jerri decided to venture out & start an interior decorating business, concentrating primarily on beach homes on the Texas Gulf Coast.  Though a designer first, Jerri is also proficient in AutoCAD, using it to create architectural floor plans & construction plans for permitting. 

Jerri considers her design aesthetic to be style generous.   Her philosophy is that a beach home should be an escape from every day life & should be a home that invites you in & allows you to relax & unwind, while recharging you at the same time.  A beach home should evoke a feeling of restfulness & solitude.  Valentine carries out this design aesthetic through use of color, pattern, texture & architectural elements.
